Bluestar Recall:

On  September 11th, 2018 Prizer-Painter Stove Works, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada, is undertaking a voluntary corrective action plan that effects select Bluestar and Big Chill gas ranges and wall ovens. The use of the convection oven fan during pre-heating or broiling can cause accumulated gas to ignite, posing a burn hazard to consumers when the oven door is opened.

Insinkerator Recall:

On  March 6, 2018 Insinkerator, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada, is undertaking a voluntary corrective action plan that effects select products noted in the link below. These Single Outlet SinkTop Switches can overheat if water gets into the power module and could pose a fire hazard.

Bosch Dishwasher Recall:

On October 19, 2017 BSH Home Appliances Corporation, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada, voluntarily agreed to expand its 2015 safety recall to replace the power cords on certain models of Bosch® brand dishwashers manufactured from September 2012 through January 2015 and sold through appliance and specialty retailers in the United States and Canada.

Jenn-Air Dishwasher Recall:

On October 19, 2017 BSH Home Appliances Corporation, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada, voluntarily agreed to expand its 2015 safety recall to replace the power cords on certain models of Jenn-Air brand dishwashers manufactured from January 2014 through January 2015 and sold through appliance and specialty retailers in the United States and Canada.

Thermador Dishwasher Recall:

On October 19, 2017 BSH Home Appliances Corporation, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada, voluntarily agreed to expand its 2015 safety recall to replace the power cords on certain models of Thermador brand dishwashers manufactured from September 2012 through January 2015 and sold through appliance and specialty retailers in the United States and Canada.

Samsung Laundry Recall:

Samsung is working with Health Canada regarding potential safety issues for certain top load high efficiency washers, manufactured between March 2011 and April 2016.
